About Hand-to-Hand Ministries, Inc.
Hand-to-Hand Ministries, Inc. was created in 1996 by Billy & Keri Parker. After having experienced
the "struggle to survive" in churches outside the Bible belt, the Lord cast a vision for "strengthening
churches.
Many churches in pioneer areas have been in existence for a number of years, but cannot support
full-time staff or ministries. Our goal is to assist these churches by partnering stronger, more
established churches with a heart for missions. These partnerships are designed to educate
partner churches of cultural, economic, and spiritual issues that inhibit church growth in these
pioneer churches. The ultimate goal is to strengthen these churches in need so they, in turn, can
strengthen other churches in need.
This idea of strengthening churches follows the principles the early church in Jerusalem laid out for
us as they sent disciples, funding and spiritual support to churches throughout the region.
"Judas and Silas...said much to encourage and strengthen the brothers." Acts 15:32
"[Paul] went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches." Acts 15:41
"Paul...traveled from place to place...strengthening the disciples." Acts 18:32
